Specific comments made about this task

Very easy from Planning top level menu from home page, I gave up looking via the Council and democracy menu path. On the planning committee main page at http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/planningcommittee 'Where and when does planning committee meet' might be more obviously labelled 'planning committee dates'.

Couldn't find Planning Committee or any other committee

Bracknell Forest Council - 2014-03-18
Planning committee dates on modern.gov, so you have to click elsewhere to find the information. Page is very wordy.

Bradford Council - 2014-04-04
From Home Page went to Environment & Planning from Services but then unable to find a link to click on fro committee minutes. Similar issue going from planning applications in top tasks. Also nothing under public information. Eventually found under Your Council but not obviosu from Home Page. Using A-Z ent to p for planning first( not there) but easy to find the page under C, however landing page for comittee minutes does not look user friendly Internal search results 1st opttion that comes up is Public Speaking at area panels this does not make it clear that if you click on this link you will be given another link & then another to find the date maybe an option on the website for this month's meetings? Google search created same issues as internal search results

Its quite clunky and not overly aesthetic. Granted, it is functional.

Calderdale Council - 2015-08-12
neat little calender availible to the public documenting upcoming meetings for commitees

Cheshire East Council - 2014-02-13
It was fairly easy to navigate around this section of the website but again i think there is alot of information to take in on the one page of the website.

Coventry City Council - 2014-02-04
the navigation result was quite easy because you had to go onto the council and democracy part which would say the council meeting if clicked on. it would give you options like the agendas. it is very specific and organised as you are able to find what you need. the A-Z result was easy because you were able to find it under Co section. the internal search was very easy because as you were typing in the word 'council' and you typed the letter 'm', it autimatically came up with a hyperlink saying 'Council Meetings' which would redirect you to the correct page. as with the google results, they were easy to search. the relevant webpage was right near to the top: just where it should be as with other websites. this section of the website was really good and easy to locate.

Coventry City Council - 2014-02-05
To improve this, they could put the 'Committee Meetings' page on the A-Z page so that it is easier for people to find this out. Also, this could be a separate option under the 'Council and Democracy' page just like the 'Council Meetings' page. In the internal search and Google search, I think I found it eventually even though on the internal search there could be a 'Did you mean...' box if you've spelt something wrong on accident.

blank pages after clicking on meetinng dates???

Great Yarmouth Borough Council - 2014-09-04
searched p for planning, M for meetings, c for committee meetings, it is under developement control committee

Nottingham City Council - 2014-12-08
This is more formally then my last query-leisure discount card

Pendle Council - 2022-03-18
When I eventually found a page about something to do with planning committees, how do I know which area committee might be the relevant committee?

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea - 2016-07-20
I think the information on the introductory page could have been broken up into an easier format than just a very long page. Navigation was made slightly harder by having the link to planning committee under the consultations heading on the planning applications main page.

West Lindsey District Council - 2014-02-26
It might be an idea to have a link to the plg committee on the 'residents-planning' drop down and the planning section in the A-Z. Terminology is in 'Council Speak' could this be made more suitable for the customer? 'planning committee dates' did not bring up the timetable but past minutes however 'committee dates' did. The google search took me a page deep within the planning section of the website. There was a few errors on this page and it didn't contain any direct link to the cttee dates.
