Specific comments made about this task

Birmingham City Council - 2013-12-02
Internal search led to a bit of a potential confusion with adults

Birmingham City Council - 2016-07-18
Do I need to know all about MASH in order to make a report? There were various options for phones and email, but I would have preferred an online form

Bracknell Forest Council - 2014-03-18
Only option given is to phone

Brent Council - 2014-05-27
The search term vulnerable child doesn't come up. The language used in searches is more colloquial than the text book type language used in the above example so a non professional might find it difficult to get to the department they are looking for.

Buckinghamshire County Council - 2014-02-11
Easy to find Child Protection under A-Z but the A-Z results loaded very slowly

Cheshire East Council - 2015-07-15
Vulnerable adult was easy to find, but no information on a vulnerable child.

Harrow Council - 2013-12-03
Under health and social care - may not necessarily be the best place these days; search didn't find 'report child abuse'

Liverpool City Council - 2013-12-17
Was under health and social care on home page - may not be the best heading nowadays.

Newcastle City Council - 2015-01-30
The internal search was easy to use but it requires you to use the correct terminology to find the right pages. The same applies for using Google.

Northumberland County Council - 2020-04-16
The Navigation result was simple as the "Worried about an Adult or Child" was displayed on the home page. The A-Z index displayed it under the letter "W", would be easier to find under the letter "C" for Child, "V" for Vulnerable or "R" for Report

Nottingham City Council - 2014-12-08
Not obvious where to report concern about vulnerable child. The 'Social Care' listing in the A-Z of services on the Internet takes you to information all about adult social care. The childrens social care duty function is now under 'Childrens & Families Direct' which has a separate listing in the A-Z of services. Why doesn't this come under social care? A member of the public would not know this. In addition the link on the Internet takes you to information on the Intranet. A member of the public would not have access to this.

Wychavon District Council - 2017-07-20
At least the Google search brought up a page about safeguarding, although that is a jargon term. I also had to read through to find the information about how to phone up to report a concern.
