So unclear about what you are looking for....is it domestic, neglect, financial, etc, etc. Even if you find the right section, the contact details are lost in huge paragraphs and are unclear. The domesstic abuse section helpfully gives an "Exit link" in case you need to leave the sight quickly, but it disappears when you scroll down the page...in other words, useless.

Barnet Council - 2018-02-20
Some labeling and positioning of links could be clearer.

Birmingham City Council - 2013-12-02
Very easy off the home page, but quite difficult from anywhere else in the navigation

Birmingham City Council - 2016-07-18
What looked like it should have been the correct page was very easy to find, but then it led me along a path of jargon and lots of unclear links

Bracknell Forest Council - 2014-02-28
Page content is focused on social workers. There is no/little information on if you are a member of the public looking to report a concern. Safeguarding concern form isn't linked and isn't particulary well named in this instance.

Brent Council - 2014-07-10
Preventing and reporting abuse, is different to expressing concern and I hope I found the right page. Especially as it states: "If you or someone you know is being abused you need to let us know straight away." So you either report it as an incident or don't bother. Even so I need to telephone or send an email - there are no forms to complete. Again it seems to push you into making an incident of the matter.

Buckinghamshire County Council - 2015-04-07
Page wanted to tell me what abuse was and all i wanted to do was report an abuse. Ended up choosing an email address I found at the bottom of a page safeguardingadults@buckscc.gov.uk

Coventry City Council - 2014-02-05
The navigation result was quite easy because I was certain that you hasd to go into the 'Health and Social Care' section. I went onto 'Help for Adults' but couldn't find it so I went into the safeguarding section and eventuall found it. However, I still think that it was easy to find as I was certain it would be in that section. However, on the A-Z, I didn't know what to look for so I eventually gave up when I tried looking in the 'C' section for 'Concern'. The Internal and Google search were the easiest hence they are in 'Very Easy'. These were relevant and the most helpful. Overall, the only one that needed improving on was the A-Z search method. Not bad though!

Unless you use the term 'vulnerable adult' this information is very hard to find. Even then it seems to point toward policy on different niche websites rather than a clear contact / journey for resolution on the main site.

Harrow Council - 2013-12-03
I did like the good use of attachments as things to download and put up in relevant places

Lambeth Council - 2014-05-07
No form to be completed; telephone hotline only.

Very easy to find and clear to understand.

Manchester City Council - 2014-02-14
On navigation I almost missed the relevant link from the home page due to the random order the links were presented in. Alphabetical order, please! Internal search result was a screenful of .pdfs.

Manchester City Council - 2014-07-10
Very easy to find the information and the first thing that stands out is: "If a person is in immediate danger, dial 999 and ask for the police." Good advice to remind visitors of what is urgent. The next step stated "To report suspected abuse or neglect, contact us" before a tel no. and email address is given. Nice clear and to the point!

Northumberland County Council - 2020-04-16
For navigation the "Worried about an Adult or Child" was displayed on the home screen. The A-Z index was simple and displayed under the letter "A" for Adult.

Norwich City Council - 2015-03-04
Internal search returned PDF docs regarding policy. Google search returned Norfolk in position one then policy PDFs returned.

Stirling Council - 2014-02-21
Could not find a transactional form only contact details.

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council - 2015-07-13
Couldn't find page. This is a Borough council, but this is a county council task.
