/councillors is in person alphabetical order, not ward; localview is confusing; internal search hit and miss.

Birmingham City Council - 2014-02-05
The navigation result was easy. All you had to do was scroll down the page a bit and on the left, you'd find a hyperlink saying 'Councillors' on it and if clicked on will give all the names of the councillors. The A-Z method was also very easy because you just had to go onto the 'C' section to find the word 'Councillors'. However, the Internal search wasn't good because you didn't know what to click on but I found it in the end. The Google result was 'Very Easy' because it was straight forward and the pages were in order of relevance (the page shown at the top being the most relevant).

Seemed to be more click than needed from the postcode search, and the general display was a bit poor

Birmingham City Council - 2017-01-11
I'm sure the wording on the page /councillors could be snappier

Brent Council - 2014-07-14
Finding the list of councillors is very easy through all options but only google direct you 'Write to them' which provides an easy search. Also under A-Z there is use of the title of 'councillor' and 'member'. Under councillor it only links to how to complain rather than to find.

Bristol City Council - 2013-12-13
A bit more prominence on the home page would have been good; comparatively few people might be interested in this information but it's still important from the democratic accountability perspective.

Cambridgeshire County Council - 2018-02-20
It's good that you can click on a map, but the usability of the map product itself is very poor. In 2018, an online map should behave like Google Maps does. What's with the rotating fan for several seconds in the top right corner whenever a page is loaded?

Carlisle City Council - 2014-04-14
Using the direct search was more effective. Found it took more time when navigating from the council homepage.

Copeland Borough Council - 2014-02-12
It was good to be able to filter / search by ward.

Coventry City Council - 2014-02-06
It was all very easy on each search part to locate this section. It was vey helpful and very useful. This overall was a very good section of the web page and it was very well organised.

Coventry City Council - 2014-02-27
Very easy to navigate throgh to find local councillors

Durham County Council - 2015-08-18
found page for info...but it wouldn't load.

Gloucestershire County Council - 2014-02-25
When I started the task, I did not know in which Division I lived, so the listing on the GCC website of councillors by Division was of no use to me. There appears to be no facility for finding this information eg by inputting a postcode. Entering "Councillor Woodchester" into the search box returned no useful information. However, a Google search for "Councillor Woodchester" turned up, as the third entry, a link to a page on the GCC website about Woodchester Parish Council which contained the information "Woodchester is represented by the county councillor for Rodborough division...". From that, I was able to discover that my councillor is Brian Oosthuysen (Labour). Incidentally, clicking on any of the "breadcrumbs" at the top of a page on the GCC website returns a Page Not Found error.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council - 2014-09-04
Cllrs contacts should be under Council and Democracy by logic. If you google it is the third down from the top and it does look the info comes from a different website. So it is unlikely to click on that.

Havering London Borough - 2014-02-13
Really good - navigation a little unclear from the home page but A-Z and search options are very good.

Havering London Borough - 2014-02-25
There doesn't seem to be an A-Z index but I don't think you need one if the search works fine as it does in this case.

Manchester City Council - 2013-12-17
The show/hide link for the list of wards on the left was a bit stupid.

Northumberland County Council - 2020-04-16
The navigation result was easy. All you had to do was look at the top of the screen and "Councillors" is a button in which you can click to display a list of names. Presentation was acceptable, and each name was clickable to display a photo and each of the individuals information.

Oxford City Council - 2013-12-05
'Most visited' on the home page not being in alphabetical order made it harder to find on the home page than it could have been. Being at the end of a very long A-Z page also made it harder.

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council - 2015-02-12
Need to be able to find by putting in post code
