Specific comments made about this task

Birmingham City Council - 2018-09-18
took me 2 clicks to get to the page with the broken streetlights form

Bracknell Forest Council - 2014-03-11
The page is very wordy

Bracknell Forest Council - 2014-10-10
found myself stuck on https://bracknell-forest.achieveservice.com/#/module/home and could not get back to the homepage. would expect home button here to take me back to homepage

Bristol City Council - 2013-12-13
I shouldn't have to give you my full contact details (including home address) in order to report a broken street light. A map on the page would have been good. I'm not a fan of the 'quick links' sidebar as a primary navigation method myself - that should be for bonus content, not content the user is actually looking for. Internal search resulted in a screen full of .pdf documents.

Cambridgeshire County Council - 2014-11-20
A-Z is at bottom of page so not very prominent & streetlighting not listed. Google result - #2 (district council page is #1)

Camden Council - 2014-02-27
Easy to find the section, takes a couple of clicks once there.

Carlisle City Council - 2014-04-14
Transfers to County Council website, easy to find form and fill out.

Cheshire East Council - 2014-02-27
Not easy to report a broken street light from this page - Street Lighting News. Only have aphine number, no link to the report a probelm page

City of Edinburgh Council - 2014-02-12
I don't personally like 'report it' tabs on home pages, but since that's a personal opinion I didn't mark it down for this!

Cornwall Council - 2014-02-27
Bit of a scrawl through text, but fairly easy to do. Form probably too long though.

Cornwall Council - 2014-08-20
I found the site incredibly easy to use. I love the simplicity of the homepage. It would be nice if the content pages went full width, but that's just because I was viewing this on a wide screen monitor.

Enfield Council - 2014-02-27
Internal search very bad with initial query, reducing to just 'street light' much better.

Harrow Council - 2013-12-17
Is under residents; 'broken street light' in search didn't work at all.

Kingston Council - 2013-12-16
Google doesn't even bring up Kingston related links on a search for "kingston council broken street light"... Hull and Oxfordshire take the top spot! Equally bad results for internal search. Probably because the page is called "Reporting Problems on the Highway" rather than anything about lights

Lancashire County Council - 2017-09-27
The location finder is difficult to use - no submit button when using the specific location drop down.

Liverpool City Council - 2013-12-17
Nothing under street lights, had to go to report.

Liverpool City Council - 2015-01-13
Internal keyword search presents no search results, but easy to find via other search methods and the wizard is easy to use.

Manchester City Council - 2014-02-27
Easy

Oxford City Council - 2013-12-05
Size of individual items in the A-Z index makes it harder, but it's good the way the A-Z index signposts to the county council website.

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council - 2015-02-12
Map to identify site very helpful

Wandsworth Council - 2014-04-01
Navigation result: Within "Roads and streets" there should be a link towards the help for street lights and street problems.

Wandsworth Council - 2014-05-02
I did an experiment to see whether a Google search would lead to the form if you mentioned a district (i.e Balham) and a specific Road. There was success! It either lead to Roadworks (which has a link) or GOV.UK

West Lindsey District Council - 2014-02-26
'Broken street light' didn't return any information how 'street lighting' took me to a page in which I would report a faulty street light. Possibly look at amending the language? A form was launched to enable me to report the problem which was clunky and not user friendly. It contained a free text box in which to state the problem, would common issues in a drop down not be better? The google search took me to the A-Z list for the letter P! No idea why!
