Specific comments made about this task

The Navigation was the hardest search method to use hence I gave up. This was in the wrong section (Waste and Recycling). Instead, this could have been moved to the 'Streets, Transport and Parking' section which would have been more relevant. The A-Z, Internal and Google search result was very easy because it gave the right page straight away. For A-Z, you only had to look at the 'P' section for 'Public' and on the search results, the relevant pages were right at the top. Apart from the home page navigation, the rest of the methods were good.

I wouldn't even know where to start to find this in the navigation

Bracknell Forest Council - 2014-03-18
No content on website

Bradford Council - 2014-03-26
I searched 'toilets' first and that didn't work. When I typed 'public toilets' I found what I wanted.

Brent Council - 2014-08-17
Nothing on Brent Council home page about public facilties, toilets, especially public showers for smelly folks and down-and-out to go and wash themselves etc.

Cheshire East Council - 2014-10-28
Home Page / Leisure, Culture and Tourism / Town Centre Management / Public Conveniences the above bread crumb is not in the navigation which could mean that Town Centre Management and Public conveniences is not categorised. Public Conveniences can only be found using the keyword search field or the A-Z index

Other than the Navigation from the home page, the rest of the methods were good to search for this task. It was straight forward but how would you know where to look for this on the navigation results page? There isn't a specific section to look in.

Gloucestershire County Council - 2014-02-13
No signposting information on this site itself - google search showed the south Gloucestershire site page on public toilets. It listed the locations by street name, without any map or postcode info.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council - 2014-09-04
When googled it came up with the tourism website. Great Yarmouth website was far down the search results. Would not have known that public toilets comes under the sport and leisure tab.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council - 2014-09-04
The hardest part about finding the information regarding public toilets was finding what heading it came under on the home page

Havering London Borough - 2014-02-11
Easy to find through searching and the A-Z, but not straight forward through the navigation. Took a few clicks to find it.

Liverpool City Council - 2015-01-15
I found a public toilet under facilities for one of the parks, but I couldn't find a collective list.

Manchester City Council - 2014-02-13
To be fair, beyond trying to look on the map facility I wouldn't have the faintest idea how to find these using any navigation structure. Internal search took me to a page which said it would give the information, but didn't!

SLDC TEST: • Was it easy to use? Using this site was very easy and simple • Did it make sense? To me it did make sense, it’s very self-explanatory. • Could it be useful to us if we got a group of customers together who would test our website using it? I think it would be very useful to use on a group of people as it is easy to use and follow. However I think it is only useful to work out if generic things on the website are easy to find such as finding the page for the toilets. For more specific questions such as ‘How easy is it to find your CTAX banding’, I don’t think it would be useful in that sense. But it is great for if your just wanting to find out about the accessibility of the website.

Im not keen on the drop down for the A-Z. When you click on toilets it should say the location of the toilet and not the main office

Wycombe District Council - 2014-02-25
Information relating to the public toilets was kept in the 'street care and cleansing' section. This would be hard to residents and visitors to locate from the home page. I think it would be useful to have this on the A-Z index search
