Specific comments made about this task

Birmingham City Council - 2014-02-06
Overall, it was quite easy to find this. The most easiest searches were the navigation and A-Z result. On the navigation, on the left hand side, it said 'Jobs' and this redirected you to the 'Job Vacancies' page and on the A-Z, you could search in the letter 'J' for 'Jobs' or the letter 'V' for 'Vacancies'. The Internal and Google search were easy but not as easy because the most relevant ones weren't at the top of the page. Overall, very good and well organised.

Birmingham City Council - 2017-01-12
Finding the jobs page is easy, but the display of the full list of jobs is really difficult to scan through.

Bracknell Forest Council - 2014-03-20
Job content is hosted on jobsgopublic

Carlisle City Council - 2014-04-14
Informative and easy to follow how to apply for job vacancies.

Copeland Borough Council - 2014-02-12
I did like the fact that there's a page which basically is open and honest about them being more likely to be cutting jobs than creating them.

Coventry City Council - 2014-01-09
Typing the word 'jobs' into the search field gave me a list of options. I selected 'jobs at the Council' and was taken to a page with a link to current jobs. Clicking on that link gave me the FTTP 404 - not found error message.

Coventry City Council - 2014-02-06
It was all quite easy. On the Internal search, there were quite alot of options so you didn't know which one to choose. However, they all seemed relevant in differnt ways and it depends on what you wanted to search for so it was very specific.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council - 2018-08-28
It took me a while to twig that the big grey box was a link to WMJobs where the actual jobs are listed. I'm not sure what the blah text about Dudley being a unique and special place brought to the party, and all the latest news and what's on stuff below the big grey box was completely confusing. The top link on internal search was a press release about how 4,000 people have been put into jobs and training, it was link three before I got to the main jobs page.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council - 2014-09-04
all very easy to find.

Liverpool City Council - 2013-12-17
Bottom of the home page, not top. General note: A-Z pages being in three columns is actually quite difficult; another site where lists are not in alphabetical order.

London Borough of Hillingdon - 2014-02-04
All clearly signposted - current vacancies easily displayed. Not so obvious in navigation though - but then spotted a quick link at the very top of the page

Manchester City Council - 2013-12-04
General note - overall, the random ordering of what serves for menu entries makes finding anything much harder than it needs to be; search engine results page makes 'featured' results near-invisible.

Manchester City Council - 2014-02-27
Not obvious navigation, but search is easy

Milton Keynes Council - 2022-05-03
Test

North Lincolnshire Council - 2014-02-26
easy to find on the homepage, included in A-Z list, site and google searches produced top results, easy to read, didn't complete the form

Oxfordshire County Council - 2013-12-16
Internal search generated specialist pages for certain job areas, not the main jobs site. One link from the internal search was to http://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/cms/content/jobs-available at which I was informed I was "Not authorized"! Best link was on p.3
