Specific comments made about this task

Birmingham City Council - 2016-07-18
I found the page easy enough, although it wasn't under an obvious section on the Council main page

Brent Council - 2014-03-24
No A-Z. Searched for senior staff gave too many search results, mostly about pay, not who they are, so gave up (on webpage they are described as corporate management team). Search for "councillors" was easy.

Cheshire East Council - 2014-10-28
The keyword search terms I used were Cheshire East Councillors and Cheshire East MPs and the results were found very quickly

London Borough of Croydon - 2014-06-18
It should be two separate tasks really as you need to conduct separate searches for councillors and the management team

Manchester City Council - 2014-03-17
No direct information on website, though the name can be assumed from minutes of meetings. Google quickly linked to a Wikipedia entry.

Newcastle City Council - 2015-01-14
It was very easy to find councillors using the internal search. It was only easy to find senior staff using the internal and Google search as I knew the terminology we use within the council for those posts.

North Lincolnshire Council - 2014-07-22
Finding councillors information was easy but not about senior officers. Finally managed to find name and contact details of Chief Exec (but no other senior managers) via google which directed to the "contact us" page.

Reading Borough Council - 2014-03-17
The information is just not on the website and was only found from a news source on Google.

Sheffield City Council - 2014-06-18
It really needs to split the task between councillors and management - councillors are easier to find with a search.

Wakefield Council - 2014-03-19
Google turned up right page at top of list. Worth noting that this search is unlikely to find a page with both managers and politicians. Most councils will have separate pages for each list. Internal search did not bring up any relevant page. A to Z had management structure in list - which is probably the best you might expect. Navigation doesn't lead me to the right page. Council and democracy leads to info about councillors but not staff. Overall it's a good looking site and I'm sure usability is not too bad. But, I do have a couple of general points about some irritating features. Clicking council logo on each page does not return you to home page - counter-intuitive. Autostart slider on home page - please resist the temptation to do this. You are hiding content if you use a slider and it's not good for screenreaders. Hate the use of stock photos. You employ 100s of staff. Surely a handful would love to feature on your website pr do they hate working for you so much that they'd be embarrassed.

Wychavon District Council - 2017-07-21
As a general point about the whole site across all tasks - the drop-down menu for 'More services' is broken, because if your browser window isn't deep enough you can't get to the bottom of the list. On searches it was easy to find the senior management team, but I gave up trying to find out who the senior councillors are.
